Marketing demand in the cannabis industry is driving innovation.  In May 2019, CannabizMD hosted the in-person event “Cannabis + Innovation”. That year, the global cannabis industry had a revenue of USD $15B. Three years later, dozens more U.S. states have established a medical program with18 states now have legalized adult use. Close to 70 countries across the globe have a CBD, medical cannabis, and/or adult use market. Prohibition Partners reports that combined global sales of CBD, medical, and adult-use cannabis topped USD $37.4 billion in 2021, and could rise to USD $102 billion by 2026.
