Cannabis to treat Menopause - Revelry

How Revelry Is Using Cannabis To Treat Menopause

A cannabis brand that addresses women’s health issues

Lilach Mazor Power and her partner Stef Swiergol want to use the power of cannabis to treat menopause. The pair launched Revelry this summer, a cannabis brand designed to ease common menopausal symptoms.

It all started with a chat between the two after a long week about marriage, motherhood, and growing old. They agreed that the prospect of menopause seemed unfair. Both Lilach and Stef believe that after decades of effort and struggle, women should deserve to enjoy the fruits of their labour instead of worrying about the symptoms of menopause.

Lilach was not going to allow menopause to get in the way of her badassery. As the founder and owner of the only female-run, vertically integrated cannabis operation in Arizona, she knew that cannabis for menopause could change the way women experienced this inevitable [phase of life].

Revelry

Revelry offers products that are plant-based and hormone-free that can improve sleep quality, focus, and mood during menopause. The products feature THC-infused day and night capsules, as well as CBD-infused oil.

More women are using cannabis to manage their symptoms of menopause

According to the recent survey of the North American Menopause Society, which was an observational study of women veterans in Northern California, one in four women have used or currently are using cannabis to manage their menopause.

Although more research on the risks and benefits of cannabis use for the management of menopause symptoms needs to be done, what we know so far is that cannabis can regulate estrogen levels; thus, reduce many of the common symptoms and effects of menopause.

The plant also contains over a hundred different kinds of cannabinoids that can mimic the chemical compounds produced in the human body-endocannabinoids. These compounds, then, interact with the endocannabinoid system (ECS), a network of receptors that regulates hormone levels.

Way to use cannabis for menopause treatment

Here are some of the ways you can use cannabis during menopause

Sublingual Drops

“Sublingual” means “under the tongue.” Consuming cannabis in this way is one of the fastest methods to feel its benefits. However, this only works if you are using cannabis oil.

If this is your preferred method, then you should try full-spectrum CBD oil. Verily, the same is true for any CBD-infused product you use, as full-spectrum extracts yield better results than partial spectrum or isolate varieties.

Topicals

Cannabis topicals are a popular treatment for arthritis, inflammation, and many age-related conditions. They can also be great for menopause treatment, as they are easy to apply to the affected body part.

This is a good choice for people who don’t like smoking or vaping marijuana, and for those who want to avoid edibles. Nevertheless, it should be noted that topicals, such as lubes, oils, and creams, don’t work as quickly or as effectively as other methods.

Cannabis Capsules

Cannabis capsules don’t always taste good, but they do have some undeniable advantages: they’re discreet, easy to use, and allow you to dose accurately. You won’t feel its effects as quickly as some other methods, but many people find them to be an ideal choice.
