This past weekend a hilarious podcast

This Past Weekend

Theo Von is an absolute savage, an extremely down to earth, witty, relatable, and smooth-talking savage. He predominantly publishes solo episodes but also has an array of distinguished guests. He interviews sex workers, MMA fighters, comedians, musicians etc…It’s sometimes it’s hard to decipher truth from nonsense but nonetheless, this guy will give you a good laugh. Additionally, Theo brings up some thought-provoking topics and responds to e-mail and video submissions from guests.

Theo also shares a podcast with former MMA fighter, Brendan Shaub called The King and The Sting (TKATS). TKATS is basically a podcast where Theo verbally undresses Shaub, who generally takes the whipping very well.

Growing up in Louisiana, Theo has an interesting perspective on life from growing up down south. Click here to visit his website, to check out his tour dates, newest podcast episodes, and to ask the rat king himself a question. Do yourself a favour and put some south in your ears. Gang-gang.

Tigerbelly- Bobby Lee and Khalyla Kuhn duo hilarious podcasts

Bobby Lee and Khalyla Kuhn host weekly episodes of what has turned into one of my favorite podcasts. The dynamic between the couple keeps things fresh and can transport your mind to places you never thought existed. Bobby Lee gathered his following from his role in Mad TV from 2001-2009 and helped to pave the way for Asian comedians in North America.

Recently Bobby Lee started another hilarious podcast with comedian Andrew Santino called Bad Friends.

Bobby has been on the comedy scene for two decades but still carries a child-like sense of humour that never seems to get old. Bobby has constructed a solid team with Tigerbelly. His girlfriend, Kyalyla Kuhn can at times shift the energy in the podcast, bringing up current issues and changing the narrative slightly. All in all, this is a funny podcast, worth getting involved in. Visit Bobby’s website to find out more about what he’s up too. Nosotros papaya.

The brilliant idiots podcast

Brilliant Idiots Podcasts

Andrew Shulz and Charlamagne Tha God are positively brilliant in their podcast Brilliant Idiots. The two give their unscripted opinions and comedic relief on current issues that typically wouldn’t be acceptable on generic news platforms. I had the pleasure of attending Andrew’s show in Vancouver in December and it was hands down one of the best performances I’ve seen to date.

This podcast has been airing since 2014, so there’s endless content to explore, but the most relatable will be the newest episodes. Andrew has been pushing the envelope for comedy since his arrival on the scene and making a name for New York comics to balance with the massive L.A. market.

Charlamagne Tha God is known for being a radio host, television personality, and author. His voice and opinions are heard and accepted by many in North America. Additionally, he co-hosts another popular podcast, The Breakfast Club with DJ Envy and Angela Yee.

Your Mom's House podcast

Your Mom’s House

Hosted by married comedians Tom Segura and Christina Pazsitsky, Your Mom’s House is on call 24/7 to elevate your mood. The podcast centralizes around a variety of topics, whats going on in the world, the two host’s lives, and commentary on video submissions from fans. The couple has ties to big names all across the entertainment industry, one of their biggest strengths is having these contacts on their show.

I witnessed Tom performing a stand-up routine last august in the Queen Elizabeth Theatre and it was well worth the money. He also has a few specials on Netflix if you want to see him in action. Even more, he shares a podcast with Bert Kreisher called 2 Bears 1 Cave.

Christina P has made a career out of comedy, taking part in voice-overs for animated movies, a successful stand-up career, and television appearances. She was also part of another podcast That’s Deep Bro where she got really deep into stuff and things.

The Fighter and The Kid

This podcast is hosted by comedian/actor Bryan Callen and comedian/former MMA fighter Brendan Shaub. These two have a unique chemistry that has propelled them to over 10 million downloads almost every month. This hilarious podcast, like Brilliant Idiots, brings unscripted opinions on current issues and comedic relief on a day to day life.

Bryan originally worked on Mad TV with Bobby Lee and has appearances in movies like The Hangover and The Joker. Both comedians tour globe doing comedy and have both performed in Vancouver. Both frequent Joe Rogan’s podcast The Joe Rogan Experience and can are a big part of the comedy scene on the west coast of the United States.

Definitely worth a listen if you haven’t yet given it a shot.

All of these podcasts are sure to brighten your day in these trying times. Next time you light up and want to be part of a hilarious conversation, try one of these podcasts out.
