Shambhala Music Festival has officially been postponed until July 2021

With a heavy heart, the official statement was released yesterday to announce the beloved Shambhala Music Festival will be postponed until July 2021.

After weeks of uncertainty, the official announcement to postpone the festival has been made. It is important to acknowledge that this could not have been an easy decision to make. Ultimately, after the B.C. COVID-19 response update given on April 17th, 2020 by Adrian Dix (Minister of Health), and Dr. Bonnie Henry (B.C.’s provincial health officer) it was made clear that large events will not take place this summer.

Keep in mind, this is a hard time for all members of society and it is important to remain positive and continue to follow the health and safety restrictions put in place. If we all do our part, we will be able to reunite once again.

It is nice to see such a positive response from the DJ’s who play at Shambhala Music Festival

K+Lab responded to the news on his Instagram (@captainklab) and told us all he, “Woke up from a crazy dream @shambhala_mf to this, were going to miss you so much this year but it had to be done, can’t wait to return safe and sound next year.”

RUMPUS (@itsrumpus) made us shed a tear by sharing,”@shambhala_mf holds a special place in my heart and it’s going to be a very strange summer without it…” followed by some videos of the farm that will surely leave you feeling a little homesick.
