Illinois medical cannabis sales still plateauing

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) released its May 2023 medical cannabis sales totals. For the last two months, sales totals dipped lower than all three years since Illinois legalized recreational use. May totals reached $27,461,289.64, including $12,871,999.91 in dry flower sales and $14,589,289.73 in concentrates/infused products. Licensed medical cannabis dispensaries served 63,537 unique patients, who purchased 1,243,558 grams of dry cannabis.
