Santa Barbara County Collects $6.7 Million in Cannabis Taxes in First Year

Budget staff recommending leaving the $1,066,000 in the general fund reserves until the next budget workshops, in the spring, and the supervisors agreed. Most of the revenues have paid for enforcement, permit processing, and other costs related to the cannabis program, but they can be used for any general fund purposes.
