OPEN LETTER TO  CANNABIS EDUCATION ADVOCATES AND ORGANIZATIONS

Hello Heather Allman and faithful Cannabis Law Report readers,

Thank you so much for asking the question, “Why should we vote for CannaMedU?” As you know, the cannabis industry today is a bit like the wild west, especially since the 2018 Farm Bill, which made hemp and CBD legal in all 50 states. It is legal, but regulation is all over the place and we have found there is a lot of misleading information and products that aren’t what they claim to be. This is the same for all forms of cannabis, including THC products in legal states.

We saw the need for clear, concise and constantly current education for consumers and clinicians. Our innovative approach offers a bridge to life changing resources.

We want to educate our healthcare providers, so they will have the necessary resources to help their patients. Similarly, we want to educate consumers, so they can make educated product choices for themselves.

If we win the grant money, CannaMedU would use the resources to…

  1. Strengthen and continue to build branding, content, and outreach. We would beef up our online presence with a professional SEO plan.
  2. Continue our own education by attending conferences, providing ongoing research and up-to-date protocols, presenting & sharing what we learn at regional conferences.
  3. Purchase updated equipment, improving the quality of our podcast, Freshemp.
  4. Offer scholarships to students for certification classes.

We would appreciate it if you would take the time to look over the grant information find the FedEx small business grant website. And please vote for us, if you feel so inclined. We are trying to make the change we want to see happen in Indiana by being fierce Cannabis Advocates, Activists, and most importantly— by being up-to-date, aware, and knowledgable Educators at CannaMedU

Respectfully,

Heather Beuke Diers,
