Murphy stated in an Executive Order , “…of New Jersey’s nine million residents, only approximately 15,000 are able to participate in the State’s medical marijuana program.” The low number of patients is puzzling, considering that New Jersey’s list of qualifying conditions for medical cannabis is extensive.

People seem to be dissatisfied with both of those conditions, and they’re going the ballot initiative route to change things. There’s also a measure that would repeal the state’s medical marijuana program. The AG has released a final summary of that, so those backing the measure can begin collecting signatures.
