Cheech & Chong ‘O Cannabis’ Tour

When: October 10, 8 p.m.
Where: Abbotsford Centre, 33800 King Rd., Abbotsford

Take your hits from the bong before seeing Cheech and Chong and hop in a “Doober” ride. The OG canna-comedians are back on ta Canadian tour! Dave’s not here but if the odds are right, you’ll probably meet some other guy named Dave.

Annual Symposium on Cannabis in Veterinary Medicine

When: October 5 and 6
Where: Vancouver Animal Emergency & Referral Centre Conference Room, 2303 Alberta St., Vancouver

The annual Veterinary credit-approved weekend symposium will cover fascinating advances in cannabis medicine. Presentations will cover topics like animal rehabilitation medicine, palliative care, hemp diets, and others. Those in the region are encouraged to attend in person, but there will also be a live video stream

Dosed Movie Premiere

When: October 7, 6:35 p.m.
Where: The Vogue Theatre, 918 Granville St., Vancouver

The award-winning documentary makes its Canadian debut at this evening fundraiser for MAPS Canada. Tickets start at $25 and you can add-on donations in any amount to support this important cause.

TRUE FACT Cannabis Presents: An Exploration of Cannabis Vaporizers

When: October 11, 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
Where: EventChain, 214-268 Keefer St., Vancouver

Learn the ins and outs of cannabis vaporization, advantages and disadvantages of responsible vaporizing, witness product demonstrations from a variety of devices, learn cleaning techniques, and enter some sweet product giveaways. Tickets are $25 for this 19+ event.

Nature Walk With Cannabis

When: October 12, 3 p.m.-5 p.m.
Where: Chilco and Alberni, Lost Lagoon Path, Vancouver

Join a guided nature walk and learn how you can microdose with cannabis to heighten your senses in the outdoors, reconnect with nature, and “turn that grimace into a grin.” $60 admission includes a vape pen, guided walk, and snacks.

Leafly Live: Terp Talk

When: October 17, 5:45 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
Where: 195 Alexander St., Vancouver

We’re hosting an educational event for budtenders across Canada.
