Furthermore, by redefining hemp to include its “extracts, cannabinoids and derivatives,” Congress explicitly removed popular hemp products – such as hemp-derived CBD — from the purview of the CSA.

SHORT ANSWER: In November 2016, the Florida Medical Marijuana Legalization Initiative (known as Amendment 2 ) legalized medical marijuana treatment in Florida.
